Residents have unlimited use of the sauna and steam room, indoor pool heated to 89 deg F all year, with whirlpool spa, trimnasium and an outdoor heated pool as well as tennis, putting, croquet and a golf driving range (deposit required for any equipment, avail 1st May to 30th Sep, 7am-9pm). Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult in pools. A small charge is made for use of the solarium and snooker room. Adding to the fun are quiz nights, keep fit, massage therapy, and regular entertainment in the Sun Lounge.
Exmouth, Devon’s oldest seaside resort, has a busy little harbour to the west and high red cliffs with coastal paths to the east. Close by there are afternoon river cruises on the Exe Estuary with views of Starcross, Powderham Castle, Topsham, Lympstone and the wildlife of Exe Estuary or a visit to ‘World of Country Life’. Devoncourt has a special arrangement with Sidmouth’s 18 hole golf course. All on first floor: Living/dining room with double sofa bed. Kitchen. 2 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 twin. The popular seaside resort of Exmouth, in south eastern Devon, has long been a favourite with visitors seeking a sandy beach and sunny weather in the South West. Situated near to Cockwood, Lympstone, Dawlish Warren, Woodbury, Dawlish, and Budleigh Salterton Exmouth is one of more than three hundred towns and villages in Devon in which Go2 has cottages or holidays lets available. The nearest main city is Exeter which has population of over 100,000 and a wide variety of shops, restaurants and cinemas.
Exmouth itself has much to offer the visitor. Extensive golden sands run along its seafront. The harbour at one end has daily boat trips, and there are a number of parks and amusements for children. The town is easily reached via road or rail and offers extensive accommodation with a good range of hotels and self catering.
